Depop Seller Calculators

Free calculators for Depop sellers. Depop removed its 10% selling fee for US sellers on July 15, 2024, which makes it the cheapest of the major resale apps on fees — what comes off a sale now is payment processing, plus a 12% commission only if you chose to boost the listing.

One honesty note: Depop does not publish its payment processing rate on any public page, and its own seller API documentation only says that a transaction fee applies. Our calculator starts from the rate third-party trackers report but leaves the field editable, so you can enter the real figure from your payout receipt and get an exact answer.

Note:Depop's zero selling fee for US sellers is confirmed by Depop's own announcement. The payment processing rate is a third-party estimate and is presented as editable rather than as a verified rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Depop still charge a 10% selling fee?
Not for US sellers. Depop removed the 10% selling fee on July 15, 2024, and UK sellers pay no selling fee either. Payment processing still applies to every sale.
Is Depop actually free to sell on?
Almost. There is no selling commission, but payment processing comes off every sale — a few percent plus a small fixed amount. That is still far below Mercari's 10%, eBay's 13.6%, or Poshmark's 20%.
What is Depop's payment processing rate?
Depop does not publish it publicly. Third-party trackers widely report 3.3% + $0.45 for US sellers, which our calculator uses as a starting estimate — but your payout receipt shows the figure actually charged to your account, and the calculator lets you enter it.
How much do Boosted Listings cost?
12%, charged only when a boosted item sells. Since there is no base selling fee, boosting puts your total cost roughly level with Mercari's standard rate — worth it only if boosting genuinely improves your sell-through.
