Poshmark Seller Calculators
Free calculators for Poshmark sellers. Poshmark uses a two-tier commission: a flat $2.95 on anything under $15, and 20% of the sale price at $15 and above. Listing is free and buyers pay shipping separately, so shipping never touches your commission.
The flat tier is where sellers lose money without realising it. At $5 the $2.95 fee is 59% of the sale; at $14.99 it is 19.7%. There is even a narrow band just below $15 where listing at exactly $15 pays you more despite the higher percentage — the calculator flags it when your price falls there.
Note: Rates shown are for US sellers. Bundles are charged as a single sale on the bundle total, which often moves several cheap items out of the flat-fee tier.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much commission does Poshmark take?
A flat $2.95 on sales under $15, and 20% of the sale price on sales of $15 or more. On a $40 sale that is $8.00, leaving you $32.00.
Why is Poshmark so expensive on cheap items?
Because the fee below $15 is a flat amount rather than a percentage, so it does not scale down. The $2.95 fee is 59% of a $5 sale and 29.5% of a $10 sale. Bundling cheap items past $15 moves you onto the 20% rate, which is usually better value per item.
Does Poshmark charge fees on shipping?
No. Buyers pay a flat shipping rate at checkout for a prepaid label, and it is not part of your commission base. This differs from Mercari and eBay, where buyer-paid shipping is included in the fee calculation.
Is Poshmark or Mercari better for selling clothes?
Mercari is cheaper on fees at nearly every price point — a flat 10% versus Poshmark's 20% above $15. Poshmark's advantage is discovery: its closet-sharing model drives views for branded clothing and accessories in a way Mercari does not. Many resellers list on both.
