How much does Grailed take per sale?
Commission is 6% (minimum $1.99) on sales under $120, and 9% on sales of $120 or more. On top of that, Stripe charges 3.49% + $0.49 for payment processing.
Why does the commission rate jump at $120?
Grailed uses a two-tier commission structure rather than one flat rate. Below $120 the rate is lower (6%) but has a $1.99 minimum, which matters most on very cheap items. At $120 and above, the rate steps up to 9%. Because the item price crossing $120 changes the rate on the WHOLE sale (not just the amount over $120), pricing just under the threshold sometimes nets more than pricing just over it — the calculator above flags this when it happens.
Is Grailed's payment processing fee always 3.49% + $0.49?
That's the published rate for a US seller using domestic Stripe payouts who has already completed onboarding. Stripe's rates can vary for international sellers or non-standard payout setups — check your own account settings if your numbers look different.
Does Grailed charge a listing fee?
No. Listing is free; you only pay commission and processing when an item actually sells.
What's the minimum commission on a very cheap sale?
$1.99 — even a $10 sale pays at least that much commission, which is a large percentage of a low-priced item. This calculator applies that minimum automatically.
