We've personally dealt with the frustration of fee math that doesn't add up — Etsy raising its transaction fee from 5% to 6.5% in 2022 while every "calculator" online still showed the old number. That's why we built this.

What Marginory is
Marginory is a collection of free profit and fee calculators built specifically for online sellers — on Etsy, Shopify, TikTok Shop, eBay, and print-on-demand platforms like Printify and Printful.
Every calculator on this site uses the actual fee formulas from each platform's official documentation. We don't round numbers or use approximations that would skew your real margin. The goal is to show you the exact dollar figure you keep after every deduction.
Why we built it
Most "profit calculators" online either use outdated fee data, ignore fixed fees (like Etsy's $0.25 payment processing fixed component), or lump everything into a single percentage that doesn't reflect how platforms actually charge. A seller trusting inaccurate numbers prices wrong, and wrong pricing either kills margin or loses sales.
We built Marginory to give sellers a tool that reflects the real math: exact percentage fees, fixed fee components, shipping charged vs. actual shipping cost, return rate impact, and ad spend — not a simplified approximation.
How we verify fee data
Every fee rate on Marginory is sourced directly from official platform documentation and verified against published seller agreements. We check:
- Etsy: etsy.com/legal/fees
- Shopify: shopify.com/pricing and Shopify Payments documentation
- TikTok Shop: TikTok Shop Seller University
- eBay: eBay selling fees
- Printify & Printful: Published base cost and shipping rate tables (approximate — verify at provider)
Each page shows a "last verified" date. Platform fees change — Etsy raised its transaction fee from 5% to 6.5% in April 2022, for example. When rates change, we update calculators and note the effective date.

What's free, and what's not
Everything on Marginory is free. No account required, no paywall, no "premium" tier to access the full calculator. All 100+ tools are fully functional without signing up.
We may add optional features (saved scenarios, CSV export, multi-product comparison) in the future. If we do, the core calculators will remain free.
