How the two-tier commission works
Grailed doesn't charge one flat commission rate. Sales under $120 are charged 6%, with a $1.99 minimum that matters on cheap items. Once the price reaches $120, the rate steps up to 9% — applied to the entire sale price, not just the amount above the threshold. That means a $119 item and a $120 item can have noticeably different take-home amounts even though the price barely changed.
