Printify Pricing Explained
Printify's cost structure has two layers — the per-product base cost you pay to produce each item, and an optional plan subscription that discounts those base costs. Understanding how the two interact is the key to knowing whether Premium is worth it for your volume.

The two-layer cost structure
Printify itself is a platform connecting sellers to a network of independent print providers — it doesn't manufacture products directly (this is a key structural difference from Printful, which owns its own facilities). This means your base product cost can vary not just by product type but by which specific print provider within the network fulfills a given order, since different providers set their own base pricing.
Free plan vs. Premium

| Free | $0 | None |
| Premium | Paid monthly fee | Meaningful discount on base costs |

Why base cost varies by print provider
Since Printify aggregates multiple independent manufacturers, the same product (say, a basic t-shirt) might be available through several different print providers within your Printify catalog, each with a slightly different base cost, shipping time, and quality profile. This is worth comparing directly in the Printify catalog for your specific product rather than assuming one flat number.
